Catherine Linch new appointment
Catherine Linch, our Managing Director, has been elected as the chair of the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists (BGAJ).
The BGAJ represents more than 450 agricultural journalists and PR professionals and offers training courses and networking events for its members.
Catherine has been a member of the BGAJ for most of her career, previously holding the position of deputy chairman. She follows in the footsteps of Farmer’s Guardian Editor Ben Briggs who has stepped down as Char after three consecutive years in the post.
Catherine said, “I’m honoured and delighted to step up to the post of chairman of the Guild.
“My heritage is from the PR 'side of the fence' – so I will bring some of the disciplines of the communications sector and experience in leading teams and working closely with agri-businesses to my tenure.”
