Pinstone is a highly respected and sustainably successful agency which I'm hugely proud of and all the more so for being built from the foundations of integrity, ambition and delivering great results.
The Pinstone team
Our expert team of communicators bring together knowledge of our sector with strategic communications know-how and expertise in full campaign execution. We work collaboratively, delivering intelligent, results-driven, creative work that engages and influences change.
Our consultants each form part of a number of client-facing teams and are carefully selected for each client account according to their combination of experience, specific market knowledge or skillset, and team suitability. Our consultancy teams are trusted by leading industry organisations and forward-thinking businesses championing farming, food and the environment.
We're proud to be an independent business led by founder Catherine Linch who runs the company with fellow owner Robin Linch and Board Directors Hannah Lloyd and Helen Maiden; setting direction, leading the culture and evolving our positioning in the food, farming and environment sectors.
Pinstone is a highly respected and sustainably successful agency which I'm hugely proud of and all the more so for being built from the foundations of integrity, ambition and delivering great results.
Inspiring clients and the team to be bold with their communications, delivering meaningful change that positively disrupts the industry is what I relish most about my role.
Through my role at Pinstone I get to enjoy the best of many worlds, be it working in the communications sector, the rural and agri-business industry or being an extension of the client's team.
Developing the agency model and introducing new systems and processes has been my passion in the business since I joined Catherine full-time in the business in 2010.
The consultancy team offers insight into the specialist agricultural, environmental and food supply sectors. This is combined with top level agency consultancy, a team approach to ideas generation, and expertise in the implementation of the full range of communication channels including digital, conventional, and social media.
I enjoy the fast-paced nature of agency. Working across multiple campaigns and providing PR strategy for all different kinds of products, services and businesses keeps things varied.
Leading the delivery of strategic and dynamic communication campaigns spanning print and the wealth of digital channels, I work on clients primarily with a strong technical aspect and where a depth of agricultural sector understanding is vital.
I oversee a broad range of food, farming and environmentally focused PR accounts, consulting with clients on the right mix of channels to reach their audiences; and directing and supporting teams.
An experienced PR professional and marketeer, I've led targeted PR strategies, through to digital marketing and media campaigns. I am known for transforming complex ideas into compelling stories.
My role at Pinstone sees me directing a breadth of client PR and marketing activities across the agricultural industry, environmental and food supply chain sectors.
I’ve honed my skills in the wealth of PR and marketing disciplines, across the arable sector, animal and crop nutrition sectors and through supporting a number of leading industry organisations.
I am responsible for the management of client accounts across the pig, turf and amenity, pest and certification sectors. I am also well-versed in arable industry issues and have completed my BASIS foundation.
The Pinstone team consistently excel at delivering compelling client communications. Bringing to life engaging and creative campaigns is the aspect of my role that I find most rewarding.
My core skills include producing content for multiple audiences and formats, paid digital marketing, social media content generation and strategy development. I am particularly interested in keeping up with the latest digital innovations.
Problem solving and idea generation are my favourite parts of the job and I love the challenge of finding new ways to celebrate what makes our clients' work important and unique.
I am skilled in client liaison, developing compelling social media campaigns and producing content for digital and print media, as well as stakeholder activity and press liaison.
I love writing and this job allows me to create content for a range of clients, drawing on the skills I gained while working as an agricultural journalist for more than 10 years.
I work on a breadth of campaigns that range from traditional PR through to the campaigns that always centre around the audience and draw on the latest digital comms, from search, to mastering a range of social platforms and digital and print advertising.
With a farming background and previous experience in the legal sector, I have developed a broad skill set which is transferable to my role at Pinstone where I am heavily involved in editorial and digital communication strategies.
It's a role that requires a breadth of expertise across the disciplines of PR, marketing and communications, and a depth of knowledge of the agri-food sector.
I support the delivery of digital and editorial PR campaign content and stakeholder communications, having brought experience from a marketing role in the food processing sector.
I am a Chartered Accountant and like a spot of baking and spending time with my family and dogs in my spare time.
I’m passionate about all things finance and dedicated to supporting Pinstone's sustainable practices.
The team here at Pinstone have a vast knowledge of PR and the agriculture industry. I am proud to be able to support them in progressing the digital aspects of modern PR.
