Bee inspired this Christmas

As Christmas races towards us, it is a great time to look back across a brilliant year for Pinstone.

A key milestone for us was setting off on an exciting journey to strive to do more for our people and our planet by focusing on becoming a B-Corp business. This is our way of using our business and communications as a force for good, giving back to people and planet The UK B Corporation Movement

Through this rigorous application process, we will be measured on our environmental and social impact, as well as legally committing as a business to change our corporate governance structure to ensure accountability to all our stakeholders.

Bee the change you want to see
To physically link our work culture of being the ‘bees knees’ into the environment and nature that surrounds us and many of those in our industry, earlier this year we set-up 10 commercial beehives.

The homes of our industrious pollinators are set within seven acres of wild flower meadows which was planted within our 37 acre commercial apple orchard back in April on ‘Earth Day 2022’.

We also have been busy switching suppliers using our purchasing power to work with those who like us are also committed to making a difference to the planet.

Like our bees, as a team we have had a busy and productive year with continued growth, delivering real impact for our clients.

The rewards for our efforts continued with being awarded the Medium to Large Business of the Year Award at the recent Herefordshire Business Awards, while our investment in nature has also paid off with the gift of our very own honey, harvested just five miles from Pinstone’s offices.

Sweet treats this Christmas
The yield from our hives was over 6,500g and from this first harvest, many beautifully packed jars of our planet friendly honey are being packaged up. These will soon be delivered to our clients to taste and share the sweet success of our bees’ labour.

The festive bee theme continues in-house as we celebrate a Christmas countdown with highlights from the year that we have found professionally impressive, inspiring or heart-warming.

Pinstone ‘Queen Bee’ Catherine Linch and our whole team have put together a festive hotlist of creative campaigns to share in the coming days.

We are buzzing to see what 2023 will bring and send our very best wishes for the festive season.
