As one of the most recognisable names in beef, Aberdeen-Angus is looking to expand their vision of the breed and the brand, to reach a trio of audiences: farmers, retailers and consumers.
At a time when the British public is sourcing more groceries locally, and looking to back British breeds where possible, this is a key time for the society to ‘take the bull by the horns’ and communicate their bold message of choosing the best beef you can get to the general public.
Commenting on the new relationship, Barrie Turner, chief executive of the society, says the sector expertise of Pinstone is critical for delivering their vision.
“As an agricultural business we feel it is very important that we have a PR team behind us with an agricultural background and following some in-depth meetings we believe that we have found this in Pinstone,” he says.
“We’re looking forward to developing our marketing strategy, utilising the expertise that we have at our disposal and feel very confident that the team will bring our vision for the Aberdeen-Angus breed and brand to fruition.”
