Pinstone team expands with two new recruits

Specialist agri-food PR and marketing agency, Pinstone, has taken on two talented new recruits this autumn, who will help meet the needs of the growing business.

Rosie Hopkins has returned to the company as an account director, following a two-year stint heading up a digital rural business. Meanwhile Ali Parker has joined Pinstone as an account executive, after completing the NFU’s graduate programme.

Rosie Hopkins – Account director

Rosie first joined Pinstone as a graduate in 2014, before leaving the company in 2017 to help start-up The Business Barn. Here she worked across all aspects of the business and built on her digital marketing experience.

She explains how she’s already immersing herself back into the fast-paced agency environment.

“In my new role I’m heading up client accounts that range from livestock nutrition and animal health through to renewable energy. While times are uncertain for the agricultural sector, Pinstone has embraced change, by using the team’s expertise to venture into new sectors. I’m already enjoying getting stuck in,” she says.

Ali Parker – Account executive

After completing a degree in Consumer Behaviour and Marketing at the University of Reading, Ali worked in different departments within the NFU, including the policy directorate and a regional office. But it was her time in the communications department that sparked her interest in PR.

Ali explains that after her graduate programme finished, she was keen to continue to work within the industry. But she wanted to move back to the mixed family farm in Herefordshire.

“My role at Pinstone is very varied and I’m enjoying the challenge of working with an array of different clients. These include animal health, organic dairy and the food industry to name a few.

“I get involved with a variety of strategic client outputs, including writing editorial and social media content, to videography and event management,” she says.

Pinstone managing director, Catherine Linch, adds that she’s delighted to have two talented new individuals on board, as the company goes from strength to strength.

“I’m especially proud to offer opportunities to passionate individuals in rural Herefordshire, where it can be challenging to secure a meaningful career,” she says.
