Catherine Linch (CIPR) Director

Founder and MD of Pinstone, Catherine maintains a full-time role dedicated to working on client campaigns, from developing an over-all communications strategy to crisis management, technical writing and daily media relations. She is well known to the agricultural and specialist grower press whilst also chief writer and editor of a number of our clients' in-house publications.

From a farming background, Catherine always sought to combine her love of the countryside with a job that didn't involve manual labour! So, on graduating from Wye College (then the University of London) with a degree in Agriculture and the Environment, she began her career with specialist public relations agency Town and Country. Here, she worked on PR campaigns that included industry bodies and world leading agribusinesses, developing a technical knowledge of crop protection, cereal breeding and pest control. She has also managed product campaigns linked to the livestock sector, including animal health and forage.

A member of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists and Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Catherine is responsible for Pinstone's agricultural and horticultural clients, as well as new business.

Away from work Catherine is most typically found out walking our canine colleague Jack.
